Bollywood star Vicky Kaushal, who is currently promoting his upcoming historical drama Chhava, took a culinary detour in Patna, where he enjoyed Bihar’s famous delicacy, litti-chokha. The actor shared glimpses of his experience on social media, much to the delight of his fans.
On Saturday, Vicky posted photos of himself at a food stall in the capital city, relishing the traditional dish while surrounded by security. Dressed in a classic white kurta-pyjama and stylish sunglasses, the Chhava actor exuded effortless charm. Sharing his excitement in Hindi, he captioned the post, "Patna aakar Litti Chokha kaise miss kar jaayein??? Chhaava exciting news coming up! (How can I miss litti-chokha when in Patna? What a blast!)."
Vicky’s post quickly went viral, with fans appreciating his love for local cuisine. Litti-chokha, a popular dish in Bihar, consists of wheat flour balls stuffed with roasted gram flour, served with mashed and spiced vegetables. It is a staple of the region and a must-try for visitors.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Vicky Kaushal is preparing for the release of Chhava, where he will portray the iconic Maratha warrior, Sambhaji Maharaj. The film is based on a book by writer Shivaji Sawant and is one of the most anticipated historical dramas of the year.
In a recent interview with Film Companion, Vicky Kaushal shared his excitement and opened up about the challenges he encountered while working on the film. Calling 'Chhava' a "very special" project, Vicky Kaushal revealed that it demanded the most from him, both physically and emotionally. This movie marks his second collaboration with director Laxman Utekar, following their hit film 'Zara Hatke Zara Bachke.'
