‘I am excited about celebrating Onam back home in Thrissur this year’

South actress Bhavana Menon is spending her Onam at home, in Thrissur, with her family – after working through the festival for the better part of the decade.

Ever since her debut in 2002, the actress has had very few opportunities to spend Onam at home.
“Many of my Onam days went in work and I didn’t have the chance to celebrate. At most, there would be a payasam or a sadhya on the set; but that’s about it.However, this year will be different as I will be in Kerala with my family, gorging on all my favourite Onam dishes, and soaking in on all the festivities,” she says.
