Ever since the controversy on the copyright issue of ‘Varaha Roopam’ song broke out, the makers of 'Kantara' and Rishab Shetty didn’t make any public statements on the issue and were silently waiting for justice. Today, for the first-time Rishab has finally broken his silence after team 'Kantara' emerged victorious in the case.
Taking to social media the actor-director wrote, “We have won the case with the blessings of God. The song will be back on OTT soon.”
Take a look at Rishab Shetty's tweet.

The song is seen as the soul of the film, as it is played in the beginning and mainly during the climax, which gave 'Kantara' a ‘divine’ feel and goosebumps to the audience. The Kerala-based band Thaikkudam Bridge decided to go legal, as they expected 'Kantara' should have approached them for rights to their song. Two district courts, Kozhikode and Palakkad, issued a stay on using the song on streaming platforms, forcing the team to replace it and run a different version of it when Kantara was released on OTT.

Fans were very much disappointed about the new version of the song which was trolled and memes did on social media and have been asking for the original to be reinstated. Well, looks like all the issues are solved and the song is back on OTT also.
'Kantara' was released on OTT in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam only, with the Hindi version expected on another platform soon as all the legal issues are over now.
