After the success of ‘Varshangalkku Shesham’, the actor-director Vineeth Sreenivasan is all set to entertain the audiences with the upcoming comedy-drama movieOru Jaathi Jaathakam’. The latest updates say that the movie is facing a ban in Gulf countries, except Oman.

According to a Tweet shared by the movie analyst Sreedhar Pillai, ‘Oru Jaathi Jaathakam’ will be facing a ban in Gulf countries, except in Oman as the film has due to LGBTQ+ references.

In the trailer which was unveiled by the makers recently, Vineeth Sreenivasan’s character is desperate to get married to a perfect girl of his liking and is mocked by others who tag him as a homosexual person, which he is not. The trailer promises a complete comedy entertainer with a very relatable theme for the youngsters who are getting lots of marriage proposal rejections or are waiting for that ideal partner to tie the knot. Nikhila Vimal plays one of the female lead characters in this comedy-drama movie.
The movie is helmed by M Mohanan who is best known for the film ‘Aravindante Athidikal’, ‘916’, ‘My God’, and ‘Manikyakallu’. The expectations are quite high for ‘Oru Jaathi Jaathakam’.
Actress Shaun Romy who plays one of the pivotal characters in the movie, earlier shared in an exclusive chat with ETimes that she was excited to work with Vineeth Sreenivasan again after ‘Hridayam’. She shared, “It’s a character that I have never done before, and I am waiting to see how it’s going to turn out. But mostly, we had a lot of fun during the shoot. I am sure that even the audience would find the movie interesting.”
