Allu Aravind, the well-known producer and father of
Allu Arjun, is busy promoting his recent venture Thandel, featuring
Naga Chaitanya and
Sai Pallavi, which will hit theatres on February 7.
Recently, Aravind was in Chennai for the grand unveiling of the film’s trailer, where he shared his interest in working with
Suriya. “Suriya and I have been good friends for a long time, and I’d like to work with him. In fact, director Chandoo Mondeti and I are in talks with him for a film, but it’s in the early stages,” he confirmed in a conversation with Hindustan Times.

Aravind discussed the casting of Naga Chaitanya in the lead role for 'Thandel', highlighting his strong connection with the actor. He expressed confidence that Chaitanya was the perfect fit for the character, promising that his performance in the film would be a career-defining moment. He also emphasized that Chaitanya's portrayal in Thandel would be exceptional and unlike anything audiences have seen before, marking a significant milestone in his career. Aravind also shared a funny banter that took place between him and Chay’s wife,
Sobhita Dhulipala, during their wedding.
'Thandel' is set for a multi-lingual release in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi, with Naveen Nooli handling the editing and Shamdat Sainudeen as the cinematographer. The music is composed by Devi Sri Prasad. The trailer launch event of the movie was graced by Aamir Khan, and there are rumors that Allu Arjun will be the special guest tomorrow for the trailer launch event in Hyderabad.
