While performing Shape Of You, Ed suddenly broke into Urvasi Urvasi, leading to wild cheers from the crowd. “Chennai, would you like to see the real thing... Will you make some noise for AR Rahman,” the singer called out as he introduced his surprise guest performer. Rahman exchanged a warm hug with Sheeran on stage and greeted him by saying “Ed Sheeran, welcome to Chennai! Vannakam.”

Rajeshwaran, who proposed to his longtime partner Mitali during Ed’s performance of Perfect, said, “The initial plan was to propose on Valentine’s Day, but this felt like the most beautiful way to get a ‘yes.’” “We were literally kids when we fell in love, so it was indeed the ‘Perfect’ proposal,” Mitali added.
THE GRAND FINALETo end the night, Ed Sheeran delivered a high-energy performance of Bad Habits, leaving the crowd with excited cheers and urging them to shake a leg. “Every time Ed took a break to even catch a breath, I was hoping that wasn’t the end of the concert.
