Ram Charan's beloved romantic comedy 'Orange' is making a comeback to theatres, 15 years after its initial release. The film, which originally hit the big screens on November 26, 2010, will be re-released in the theatres.
The makers took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce the news, as they wrote, "Feel the magic of @AlwaysRamCharan on the big screen once again! Don’t miss the special re-release of #Orange this Valentine’s Day, Feb 14th!"
The movie is swt to be re-released on February 14, 2025, coinciding with Valentine's Day.
Directed by Bhaskar, 'Orange' features Ram Charan alongside Genelia D'Souza in the lead role, with a supporting cast that includes Shazahn Padamsee, Prabhu,
Prakash Raj, Brahmanandam,
Pavitra Lokesh, and Vennela Kishore.
Despite having an average run at the box office upon its initial release, 'Orange' has continued to receive acclaim over the years, particularly for its memorable soundtrack. The music has remained popular among fans. The re-release is expected to attract both nostalgic audiences and new viewers who may have missed it the first time around.
'Orange' was filmed extensively in Australia and became one of the largest Indian-budget films ever shot in the country. Interestingly, more than half of the cast and crew hailed from Australia.
Currently, Ram Charan is seen in the theatres with his latest film 'Game Changer', directed by Shankar. The movie received mixed reactions from the audience and was not able to hit the expected mark at the box office.
