Ravi Teja's 'Mass Jathara' faces possible delay amid clash with Chiranjeevi's 'Vishwambhara'

Ravi Teja recently treated fans to the first glimpse of his highly anticipated film 'Mass Jathara' on January 26, marking a dual celebration for Republic Day and his birthday. The teaser, packed with high-octane action sequences and the actor's trademark energetic screen presence, created a buzz among fans, building excitement for his next cinematic venture. Initially slated for release on May 9, 2025, fresh reports suggest a potential change in the schedule.
According to 123 Telugu, the film might face a delay. Speculations surfaced when the recent teaser intriguingly omitted any mention of the release date. Industry insiders suggest that the makers are considering postponing the release to avoid a potential clash with another major project, 'Vishwambhara', headlined by megastar Chiranjeevi. Given Ravi Teja's cordial relationship with Chiranjeevi, it is believed that 'Mass Jathara' may step aside, allowing 'Vishwambhara' a solo release window. However, these remain unconfirmed speculations, with no official statements from the makers of either film.
Interestingly, 'Mass Jathara' was originally planned for a Sankranthi 2025 release but faced production challenges. The film has garnered significant anticipation, particularly since Ravi Teja's previous outing 'Mr. Bachchan' performed below expectations at the box office.

The movie also features Sreeleela as the female lead. During the shoot, Ravi Teja met with a mishap, suffering a muscle tear in his right hand. Initially brushing off the injury, he continued filming until the condition worsened. Upon medical examination, he was advised six weeks of bed rest. Despite these setbacks, the anticipation for 'Mass Jathara' continues to grow, with fans eagerly awaiting further updates on its release.
