Anant Ambani contributes towards a safer, more comfortable Maha Kumbh 2025 experience

Recognising the challenges faced by many pilgrims during this once-in-a-lifetime event, of Maha Kumbh 2025, Reliance Industries Limited has launched Teerth Yatri Seva, a comprehensive initiative designed to ease their pilgrimage and ensure their well-being. Guided by its ‘We Care’ philosophy, Reliance is offering a wide array of services—from nourishing meals and essential healthcare to safe transportation and enhanced connectivity—to support pilgrims throughout their journey.
“It is said that when we serve Teerth Yatris, we too are blessed. Our services to the pilgrims, who are on a spiritual journey during this once-in-a-millennium event, aim to meet the needs of the most vulnerable among them,” said Anant Ambani, Director, Reliance Industries Limited. “At the Maha Kumbh, the world's largest religious and cultural congregation, it is our opportunity to serve, to enable health, welfare, and safety of lakhs of pilgrims, and to make their journey safer, smoother, and easier.”

Reliance Foundation has launched eight key initiatives to support pilgrims at the Kumbh Mela. Through Anna Seva, it provides hot, nutritious meals and water to thousands daily. Comprehensive healthcare services, including 24x7 medical facilities, OPDs, dental care, and free sanitary napkins for women, ensure the well-being of all visitors. To ease mobility, electric vehicles and golf carts are available, along with dedicated transport from Prayagraj to the Sangam. Safety on the sacred waters is reinforced with life jackets and enhanced boat safety measures. Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL) has established Campa Ashrams, as Comfortable Rest Zones designated to offer a comfortable and relaxing space for pilgrims. Jio has significantly improved connectivity in Prayagraj by installing new 4G and 5G BTS, upgrading existing infrastructure, and deploying transportable towers and small cell solutions at critical locations. New optical fibre has been laid to ensure seamless communication. Acknowledging the crucial role of the police, they have taken up supporting the guardians- Reliance is supplying water at police booths and supporting their efforts with barricades and watch towers to ensure the safety and security of all visitors.
Reliance's efforts are further strengthened through collaborations with spiritual organisations, including Sharada Peeth Math Trust Dwarka, Shri Shankaracharya Utsav Sevalaya Foundation, and Niranjani Akhara, among others.
