In 2025, the World Book Fair starts on February 1, Saturday, and will go on till Sunday, February 9, 2025. And like the last few years, the World Book Fair will be in Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
The World Book Fair is organised every year by National Book Trust, India, under the Ministry of Education, and every year there is a certain theme to the event.
Theme for 2025
The New Delhi World Book Fair 2025 has a theme that coincides with India’s year as a republic. The theme for the 2024 Book Fair was ‘Multi-lingual India; A Living Tradition’, and this year it is ‘Republic@75’. The theme is an honour to India’s journey as a Republic since 1950, and one can expect to see stalls and pavilions forwarding the message.
