Bobby Deol, who turned 56 on January 27, celebrated his birthday in style with fans gathered outside his Mumbai residence. The Ashram and Animal actor delighted his admirers by cutting three grand cakes, including two unique Motichoor Ladoo cakes, making the celebration extra sweet.
Fans could be heard singing for Bobby as he sliced into a 5-tier cake featuring blue-and-white frosting and pictures of himself; "Happy Birthday, Lord Bobby" was written on it. Motichoor cakes hogged all the limelight, with one three-tier marvel sporting ladoos and a "Japnaam" placard, an ode to the Bobby of Ashram fame, while the other had the shape of a dome topped with silver vark and dry fruits.
The added glamour to the event was that the security personnel came with a humongous ladoo for the star, and Bobby cut that along with the cakes. The actor, who sported a floral print shirt and blue jeans, graciously posed for photographs with fans and made the day memorable for all.
The rise in Bobby Deol's career is nothing but marvelous, given that he had such a strong revival in recent times. Bobby's transformation and performance in Ashram and Animal got him wide accolades. He was well known for his iconic roles in 90s Bollywood films, but Bobby embraced this new chapter of his life and experimented with negative and grey-shaded characters. His negative portrayal in Animal won all the praises further cementing his versatility.
The elder brother of the actor, Sunny Deol, paid an obit to mark the day with a heartfelt Instagram post. Sunny posted a picture of the two brothers embracing each other, captioned with "Happy Birthday Little Brother My Lord Bobby." The endearing nickname, "Lord Bobby," now most famously popularised among Bobby's fans, added a sweet twist to the tribute. Fans swarmed the comments with birthday wishes and appreciation towards the Deol brothers as a display of family love.
Bobby's latest films Animal, Kanguva, and Daaku Maharaaj have cemented his position as one of the stars of Bollywood. Bobby Deol has been reviving himself through every film, and the fans and family have remained true to him. His 56th birthday was a reminder of his longevity in the industry and stardom and charisma.
