Galaxy Apartments is situated in Bandra West, a prestigious area in Mumbai that is also home to other celebrities, including Shah Rukh Khan, whose residence ‘Mannat’ is very close to Salman’s. This upscale and popular area is also home to many other famous personalities from the entertainment industry. Apart from the Khan superstars Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, iconic actress Rekha, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, and many more B’Town celebs have a home in Bandra West. This makes it a popular spot for fans hoping to catch a glimpse of the stars.

Why Salman loves to stay at Galaxy Apartments?
Despite his immense fame, Salman cherishes this modest setting as it holds many childhood memories. In a past interview with IANS, Salman had expressed his preference for living in Galaxy Apartments over more extravagant mansions, “I love staying at my flat in Bandra over a big, luxurious bungalow because my parents live in the flat above mine. Ever since I was a child I have taken the same left turn or right turn and I would not have it any other way.”


He further elaborated on his fondness for fun family atmosphere within the building saying, “The entire building is like one big family. When we were little, all the kids of the building would play together in the garden below and sometimes even sleep there. Back then, there weren’t different houses; all the houses were treated as our own and we would go into anyone’s house to eat food. I still stay in the same flat because I have countless memories attached to that house.” This connection to his roots is why Salman continues to reside in this cherished apartment despite his immense success and wealth.

Security amped up at Galaxy Apartments
Recently, security enhancements have been made at Galaxy Apartments due to safety concerns arising from threats against Salman Khan. As per many media reports and videos, renovations included a bulletproof glass being installed in the balcony of his house.
