Pete Davidson is looking for a ‘clean slate’.
The Saturday Night Live (SNL) famed comedian and actor is aiming to start afresh and trying to be ‘an adult’ as he revealed that he has already spent around $200K to get rid of almost 200 tattoos he has had. The American actor and comedian recently appeared on a late-night talk show and revealed how the process of removing a tattoo is “worse” than getting inked. As he explained the procedure to the host, saying, “They've got to burn off a layer of your skin, and then it has to heal for, like, six to eight weeks. And you can't get in the sunlight, and you've got to do it, like, 12 more times,” he also added that the whole process is ‘horrible’.
Although he has decided to keep one or two of his previous tattoos, Davidson didn’t reveal if any of those held any significance for him or his past relationships.
As the 31-year-old New York City native kickstarts a new chapter in his life while he is single, let’s take a look at some of his ‘wildly popular’ past relationships.


Being a comedian himself, Pete dated Cazzie David, daughter of comedian Larry David, for two and a half years, from 2016 to 2018. Pete reportedly broke up with Cazzie via a text!
Throughout their relationship, Cazzie apparently had trouble convincing Pete that she cared for him. Eventually, she wanted to end the relationship but paused because “previously, self-harm and suicide threats had come about from trivial circumstances.”
Moreover, in her book of essays, “No One Asked for This,” Cazzie claimed that Pete started dating Ariana Grande two days after they broke up.


Pete started dating songtress Ariana Grande shortly after splitting with Cazzie in May 2018. Things moved quickly between them as after dating for only a few weeks, the two moved in together and by June 2018, they became engaged.
However, the brighter they glowed, the faster they burnt!
By October 2018, Pete and Ariana split up.
A few months later in December, Pete worried the world when he tweeted that he didn’t want “to be on this earth anymore” and then deleted his account. Despite being broken up at that time, Ariana had reportedly rushed to his side to help. However, Pete apparently refused to see her.
After Pete had broken up with Ariana in October 2018, he and Kate Beckinsale first sparked dating rumors when they left a Golden Globes party together in January 2019. However, after a few months of dating, their relationship fizzled out.


‘The Substance’ famed actress Margaret Qualley too has had her brush-up with Pete Davidson. The duo started dating in the summer of 2019. However, by October of the same year, they called it quits.


After Pete and Margaret called it quits in October, the SNL alum started dating popular model Kaia Gerber. In November 2019, the two were spotted packing on the PDA during a trip to Miami. In December, it was reported that Kaia‘s famous parents – Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber – were worried about their daughter’s relationship with Pete amid reports of him struggling with his mental health. In January 2020, Pete and Kaia‘s relationship had “cooled off” as he focused on his mental health.

The Bridgerton actress Phoebe Dynevor and Pete started dating in mid-2021. The pair made their first public appearance together in July while attending a Wimbledon match together. Phoebe and Pete shared the same initials and the ‘Fair Play’ actress was seen out and about wearing a ‘PD’ necklace. However, after months of dating, Pete and Phoebe broke up in August due to their busy schedules, with her working in the UK and him working in NYC.


After Pete moved on from Phoebe, he started dating Kim Kardashian shortly after she hosted Saturday Night Live back in early October 2021. (The two shared their first kiss during a sketch on the episode!) While dating, the pair even appeared at the Met Gala together! After about nine months of dating, it was revealed in August 2022 that Pete and Kim had split up due to their busy schedules.


In early November 2022, after moving on from Kim K, Pete started dating model and actress Emily Ratajkowski, several months after her split from husband Sebastian Bear-McClard. After celebrating his 29th birthday and Thanksgiving together, the two seemingly confirmed they were dating when they sat courtside together at a Knicks game. By December of that year, it was revealed that Pete and Emily were no longer seeing each other.


After Pete split from EmRata, he started dating his Bodies Bodies Bodies co-star Chase Sui Wonders. The duo sparked romance rumors in late December 2022. They were seen engaging in some PDA the following month, seemingly confirming that they were an item. The two tried to keep their relationship out of the spotlight as much as possible and while they both attended the premiere of their show Bupkis, they didn’t pose for photos together. In May 2023, Chase shared some very rare comments about their relationship, calling it very “sacred.” However, in August 2023, it was revealed that Pete and Chase had split after eight months of dating.


The Outer Banks actress Madelyn Cline and Pete were first linked in September of 2023 and made their first public appearance one month after that. After 10 months of dating, sources confirmed in July 2024 that the two had broken up. As of right now, no reason behind the split has been revealed.
