Indian golfer Pranavi Urs started the Women's Irish Open with an even par 73 after losing the gains made in her first nine holes with three bogeys on the back nine.
Pranavi initially surged to 3-under within the first four holes with birdies on the 11th, 12th, and 13th, but slipped back with bogeys on the fourth, eighth, and ninth holes of the Par-73 O'Meara Course at Carton House, ending the first round tied for 45th.
1x1 polls

Pranavi's compatriot Diksha Dagar carded a 1-under 72 and is tied for 29th, while Tvesa Malik and Ridhima Dilawari ended the day at T-93 and T-128 respectively.
Pranavi’s rookie season has seen her aim to regain the form that brought her three top-10 finishes in the first half of the year. In her first start since the Aramco Team Series in London, she showed initial promise before faltering in the second half of her round.
Diksha's 1-under 72 was marked by three birdies and two bogeys, following her participation in two Majors and the Paris Olympics.
At the top of the leaderboard, Italy’s Alessandra Fanali, Finland’s Ursula Wikstrom and Spain’s Luna Sobron Galmes lead with opening rounds of 68, sitting at 5-under-par.
Fanali made an impressive start with birdies on her first two holes and added two more on the fourth and sixth before dropping her first shot on the eighth. She continued strong with birdies on the 11th and 13th holes.

Wikstrom also had a strong front nine with four birdies but dropped shots on the 14th and 18th. She countered with birdies on the 10th, 12th, and 17th holes to share the lead.
Galmes matched the leaders with her own round of 68, joining Fanali and Wikstrom despite being in one of the later groups for the day.
French golfers Pauline Roussin-Bouchard and Agathe Sauzon, along with Germany's Carolin Kauffmann, are one shot back with rounds of 69, positioned jointly in fourth place at four-under-par.
