Speaking about the same in an exclusive word with ETimes, Babbal Rai said though he was excited for the movie, we are all in the same boat and he still has high hopes from the film.
Gippy Grewal was one of the first filmmakers to announce a hold on his production due to the novel Coronavirus. He shared a video stating that the release of his production ‘Posti’ is being postponed until further notice. On the other hand, the shoot of his another Punjabi movie ‘Maa’ was still going on. However, now the same has been called off too.
Announced in 2018, the shooting of ‘Maa’ began at the end of February. The movie is being directed by Baljit Singh Deo, the movie has been written by Rana Ranbir. And did you know that Rana Ranbir started penning the story of ‘Maa’ in 2016.
