Ankur Rathee has been frequently compared to Akshay Kumar during the shooting of his upcoming movie Reeta Sanyal. Although initially hesitant, Ankur eventually embraced the comparison as a compliment. The film, a thriller directed by Abhirup Ghosh, stars Adah Sharma and Rahul Dev among others.

Actor Ankur Rathee attributes a pivotal photograph from his first 2014 photoshoot, inspired by James Dean, as his good luck charm for landing key roles in his career including '4 More Shots Please' and 'Reeta Sanyal.' He humorously recalls buying a $2000 leather jacket for the shoot.
