The Punjabi film ‘Khadari’ starring Gurnam Bhullar, Kartar Cheema, and Surbhi Jyoti in lead roles has been announced for release on February 9, 2024. Directed by Manav Shah and written by Dheeraj Kedarnath Rattan, the film has already created a buzz. Gurnam Bhullar took to social media to announce the release and share the title poster. Surbhi Jyoti will be returning to Punjabi cinema after a decade.

TV actor Anvesh Bansal who has acted in several Hindi shows is now foraying into the Punjabi film industry. He is making his debut with Remand, the film stars veteran Punjabi actor Kartar Cheema in the lead role. Anvesh is shooting for the film in Chandigarh and its suburbs currently.
