Senior advocate K Shashi Kiran Shetty, 47, will be the new advocate-general (AG) of Karnataka. He succeeds Prabhuling K Navadgi, who served as AG during the previous BJP regime. Shetty is an alumnus of National Law School of India University (NLSIU) where he graduated with BALLB (Hons) in 1998.

At least 13 instances of stone pelting at the Ajmer-Delhi Cantt Vande Bharat have been reported within a month of launching of the train services.
