A while ago, we told you about a major change in the principal cast of Harphoul Mohini. Seasoned actor Sudesh Berry, who was cast for the character of Balwant Chaudhary, has opted out of the show. The makers have now roped in Tej Sapru to play the part. The actor commenced the shoot from yesterday. The production house has decided to reshoot the entire portion featuring Sudesh Berry. Confirming the news, Tej Sapru says, “Yes, I am a part of Harphoul Mohini. My character is the thakur of the village and a very powerful man. He rules everything right from the panchayat to the village. He is basically like the Gabbar Singh of his village.”

Actor Sunny Sachdeva, who has currently joined the cast of television show Harphoul Mohini, to play an IPS officer Venkatesh Krishanan, will try to safeguard Harphoul (Zebby Singh) and Mohini (Shagun Sharma) from Balwant Singh Choudhary (Tej Sapru).

Veteran actor Tej Sapru is set to join the cast of Baal Shiv; he will essay the character of Daksh in the mythological show. By his own admission, he enjoys costume dramas. He says, “I am quite selective and take up a show only when the character interests me. I love doing historical roles, as I have graduated in history and political science.”

Just recently the shoot of Preeti Sapru’s directorial debut ‘Teri Meri Gal Ban Gayi’ got on the floors, and now a new development about the movie has been unveiled. The film that will be staring Akhil and Rubina Bajwa in the lead, will have a guest appearance by Mandy Takhar.

Priti Sapru is the first female director of Punjabi cinema, and after a good gap of approx 14 years she is back with her next release ‘Teri Meri Gal Ban Gayi’. The movie is slated to hit the box office next year, i.e., in 2020 and will be marking the acting debut of ‘Khaab’ fame singer Akhil in the Punjabi film industry. Opposite him the ‘Sargi’ star Rubina Bajwa will be seen playing the female lead in the movie.
