Maha Kumbh 2025: Helicopter service to Triveni Sangam now available
Here’s some great news for those planning to visit the Maha Kumbh in Prayagraj but wishing to avoid long walking distances. A new helicopter service now allows direct travel from the airport to Triveni Sangam, making the journey more convenient.
The Uttar Pradesh Eco-Tourism Development Board, in collaboration with Fly Ola, has introduced this service for the Maha Kumbh. Devotees can board a helicopter from Prayagraj Airport, which will take them to a helipad near the Triveni Sangam at the Boat Club. From there, a boat will transport them directly to the Sangam for a holy dip. Afterward, they will return via the same route, with the helicopter flying them back to the airport.

How much does it cost?

The entire package, which costs INR 35,000 per person, provides devotees with a smooth experience, particularly helping the elderly and those with disabilities who find long walks difficult.
Fly Ola Group CEO RS Sehgal highlighted that the service is running continuously, making it easier for devotees who once thought visiting the Kumbh was beyond their reach. “Without requiring a hotel stay, devotees can complete their pilgrimage and return to their destination within 4 to 5 hours. Once you book with us, we ensure a smooth journey from arrival to the holy dip and back to the airport,” he added.
