Golden tigers are an extremely rare sight. These are also known as golden tabby or strawberry tigers and are an incredibly rare colour variant of the Bengal tiger. These have a striking golden coat and faint stripes.

The best place in India to spot these elusive beauties is the Kaziranga National Park in Assam (Northeast India). Their shiny fur adds an allure to the wild. The rare golden tiger was photographed in Kaziranga in the year 2024.
