Silas Merritt “Si” Robertson, better known to fans as Uncle Si from Duck Dynasty, is on the mend following a recent hunting mishap. The 76-year-old reality star took a tumble during a trip in Arkansas, as recounted by his co-hosts Justin Martin and Phillip McMillan on the latest episode of the Duck Call Room podcast.
Martin explained that the accident occurred when Robertson, eager to exit their boat, misjudged his step. “Typical Silas Robertson, he’s in a dang hurry to get out of the boat and into the Polaris,” Martin said. “He fell trying to get out of the boat… it’s steep right there.” During the fall, Robertson hit his oxygen tank, but he quickly got back on his feet, downplaying the incident.
“He didn’t want anybody to see that he fell,” Martin noted. “The problem is you’re covered in mud now, like we know you fell.” Robertson tried to reassure the group, insisting, “Yeah, yeah, yeah, I’m fine. Yep, no problem.”
Despite his attempt to shrug off the incident, his behavior raised concerns later in the day. Martin recalled, “We get back to the clubhouse, and breakfast is done, and we’re looking up and there’s no Si. He’s just sitting outside in the cold.” Martin immediately suspected something might be wrong, even speculating a possible concussion, as Robertson’s actions were out of character.
While Robertson is known for his resilience and humor, the fall highlighted his adventurous spirit—always eager to dive into the action, even at 76. Fans of the beloved Duck Dynasty star will undoubtedly be relieved to hear he’s bouncing back from the ordeal.
