Exclusive - Heeramandi’s Jayati Bhatia on meeting Dipika Kakar's son Ruhaan; says ‘I promised to meet him before his first birthday'; husband Shoaib Ibrahim shares glimpses of their reunion

Seasoned actress Jayati Bhatia, currently enjoying the success of her web show Heeramandi, recently shared in an exclusive conversation with ETimes TV about her promise to meet Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim's son, her co-stars from Sasural Simar Ka. Jayati has now fulfilled her promise and recently visited them at their home.
Earlier, during the promotions of Heeramandi, Jayati Bhatia had exclusively opened up about her promise to meet Dipika and Shoaib’s son Ruhaan.She shared, “I have promised Dipika that I will meet her son before he turns one and I've to keep that promise. I’m meeting another actor Jyotsna Chandika’s son and then in a few days I will be meeting Dipika’s son Ruhaan. I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time but I was not able to but now I’ll be meeting her soon. Dipika and I had a great time while we shot for Sasural Simar Ka 2 in Agra.”
In the video, Jayti Bhatia is seen keeping her promise of meeting Dipika and Shoaib's son before his first birthday. When she arrives to meet him at first Ruhaan doesn't gel up well, Jayati Bhatia says, "Like always nobody likes in the first meeting but slowly they develop fondness for me. Ruhaan I had promised your parents that I will meet you before your first birthday and that’s why I managed somehow and came to meet you.
In the Vlog, Jayati was seen spending time with Ruhaan and playing with him. Later, Shoaib revealed that they have been chatting with Jayati Bhatia for four hours. He further shared that he kept delaying going to the gym as he was enjoying the conversation. He said, “I have met her after a long time, Dipika and Jayati ji worked together in Sasural Simar Ka 2 and at Saba’s wedding. However, this meeting was special as they got a chance to sit together and recall the old times. They had a wonderful time.”


Dipika shared, “We had a great time and we kept recalling old times and it always happens whenever we meet Humari baatein khatam nahi hoti. There are few people in life with whom you turn talkative and share everything and our bond with her is similar. Jayati ji and I had so much fun during the shooting of Sasural Simar Ka 2. Saari purani Yaadein taaza hogayi.”
Jayati talked about her excitement of meeting Ruhaan and said, “I kept my promise and met Ruhaan and we chatted a lot. I tried a lot to get a kiss from him but he was not in a mood. But I am very happy that today, I am twinning with Ruhaan.”
Shoaib praised Jayati Bhatia’s performance in Heeramandi. He shared that he has only watched a few episodes and Dipika has watched the entire series but as much as I have seen her work from the series, she has done a brilliant job. There are only a few actors from the series who have left their impact and Jayati ji is one of them.
Dipika shared, “I am so proud ke aap Meri Mataji hain.” They laughed and hugged each other.
Recently, Shoaib also did an AMA session with fans after a long time.
