Amitabh Bachchan welcoming India’s digital content creators—Kamiya Jani, Tanmay Bhat,
Bhuvan Bam, and Samay Raina. The episode was filled with humor, insights, and heartfelt moments as the guests opened up about their journeys in the digital world.
Kicking off the episode, Amitabh Bachchan acknowledged the impact of digital creators and their influence on today’s entertainment landscape. He remarked, “The digital world is that kingdom where all creators are kings.” This statement set the tone for an engaging and inspiring discussion.
As the show progressed, Bhuvan Bam and Kamiya Jani took the hot seat. Big B, known for his witty humor, complimented Bhuvan on his YouTube channel’s name and quipped, “Kya badhiya naam rakha hai channel ka, BB Ki Vines, naam bolte hi Biwi yaad aajati hai.” His light-hearted remark set the stage for a fun yet meaningful conversation.
Amitabh Bachchan then inquired about Bhuvan’s initial aspirations, asking if he originally wanted to become a singer. Bhuvan candidly shared, “In college, I was sure at that age what I didn’t want to become, which is study. I told my parents to give me three years of college life to do what I felt. I started to create content.”
Recalling a pivotal moment in his early career, Bhuvan shared a heartwarming anecdote about his parents’ discovery of his content. “One day, my mom told me that some of her colleagues asked, ‘There’s a guy named Bam, wo aapka ladka toh nahi hai?’ They were seeing those videos I made on our terrace. My father also got to know through my mother, and he even helped me with more content,” he revealed.
Kamiya Jani then narrated an amusing but nerve-wracking incident about having to redo a bungee jump for a perfect shot. Bhuvan resonated with her story and recalled a similar experience in Russia, where he had to reshoot a dangerous activity because his camera wasn’t recording, despite fearing for his life.
As they completed the first phase of the quiz show, Bhuvan reflected on a deeply emotional moment in his career. He shared that he was in the hospital when his YouTube channel hit 10 million subscribers. However, it was a bittersweet milestone, as during the same time, his father had suffered a brain stroke, leading to a tragic loss of recognition of his family members.
Bhuvan asks Big B, “You have been hosting KBC for 25 years and you have to promote so many sponsors. Why don’t you become the sponsor?”
Big B says, “I don’t have the money to sponsor it.” Bhuvan also suggests that he should change the name from Kaun Banega Crorepati to Amitabh Banayenge Crorepati.
