My wedding in Goa was a dreamy affair and now the honeymoon is going to be a surprise from my husband Chirag: Krishna Mukherjee

Actress Krishna Mukherjee, who is best known for her role in the TV show Ye Hai Mohabbatein, tied the knot with sailor Chirag Batliwala in Goa on March 13. Chirag is in the Merchant Navy and the two met on a cruise when Krishna was holidaying with friends. The wedding was in Goa with her family and friends being a part of it.
We spoke to Krishna about her big day and her honeymoon plans.She said, "It was a dreamy affair. My wedding was super fun because my colleagues from showbiz attended it. My husband was busy working and so the entire wedding was mostly organised by me and my sister and our wedding planner. The feeling of being married is slowly sinking in. Now that I am wearing the chuda, I realise I am married!"
Talking about her husband, she said, "I have known Chirag for over a year. He is an extremely caring, supportive and an understanding guy and that's why I got married to him."
Krishna added, "He is a Parsi and I am a Bengali. He loves non-veg, but I can't cook non-veg food! The best part about getting married is I have not for once felt that I am a bahu now. My mother-in-law is very sweet and treats me like her daughter. I feel happy and look forward to this new journey."
The actress does not yet know her honeymoon destination. She shared, "Chirag has kept it a secret surprise. He will soon let me know. We are happy that the wedding went well and soon we will head for our honeymoon."
