Annu Grover, the visionary behind Nurturing Green, emphasized the significance of promoting plants over traditional bouquets. After his pitch, a heartfelt moment unfolded when Kunal Bahl revealed his long-standing acquaintance with Annu Grover. Kunal shared, "I had met Annu in Cybercity when he had started out around 10 years back. Aapki ek cheez jo mujhe achhi lagi hai is in 14 years, you would frequently send me your updates and I would read all those updates." This acknowledgment underscored the importance of persistence and maintaining relationships over the years.
Nurturing Green sought ₹1 crore for 1% equity. After the face-off, Vineeta Singh offered ₹50 lakh for 1.25% equity, along with ₹50 lakh in debt at 10% interest for three years. With no other offers from the sharks, Annu accepted Vineeta's proposal, marking a significant milestone for Nurturing Green.
