Malayalam TV actor Dileep Sankar was reportedly found dead in a hotel room in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday morning, December 29. The actor had been staying at the hotel for a couple of days for the shoots of his ongoing serial 'Panchagni'. Hotel staff discovered his body after noticing a foul smell coming from the room.
Dileep, who was known for his roles in popular TV serials, including Ammayariyathe and Panchagni, had not been seen leaving his room during his stay. Authorities are investigating the cause of his death, although there are no signs of foul play, as per the initial reports.
The actor’s sudden death has shocked the Malayalam entertainment industry. Dileep Sankar was well-loved by fans for his versatile acting in both TV serials and films. He was last seen in his role as Chandrasenan in the ongoing serial Panchagni. Recently, he gained much appreciation for his character Peter in 'Ammayariyathe'.
