Student protesters march ahead of major blockade of Danube bridges in Serbia
Hundreds of striking students resumed their anti-corruption protest march from Belgrade to Novi Sad, after spending a freezing night outdoors. The protest, sparked by the deadly collapse of a train station construction in Novi Sad in November, has grown into a significant challenge to President Aleksandar Vucic. The students plan to blockade three bridges over the River Danube this weekend. Despite ongoing threats and attacks, they remain determined to demand accountability and major reforms.
