Spoilers below.
Love Is Blind just wrapped its sixth season, which has been filled with dramatic breakups, ugly crying, twisted love triangles (we’re looking at you, Jeramey), and offscreen scandals. While most of this season’s couples started the experiment with the best intentions, only a few made it to the aisle.
Here’s what you need to know about the couples on Love Is Blind season 6, including which romances have continued since the show finished.
Johnny and Amy
Johnny and Amy were the only couple to actually tie the knot on the season 6 finale of Love Is Blind. From the very start, they seemed to have a genuine connection, which saw them planning future vacations to Japan and bonding over the importance of family, according to Tudum. Even a challenging discussion about birth control wasn’t enough to deter the pair, who quickly proved that they could work through conflict gracefully.
In episode 12, Amy and Johnny declared their love for one another at the altar. “But feeling your character and learning to know and love your soul... I love your soul,” Amy told Johnny. “...I’m excited for what’s next.” Rather than make a big declaration in response, Johnny simply replied, “I can’t wait.” The pair said “I do” in front of their family and friends, making them the only couple on season 6 to commit to a life together.
Following their wedding, Johnny revealed that he felt Amy was “out of [his] league,” and that he wouldn’t have approached her if he saw her in a bar, because he didn’t think he’d stand a chance. However, the show gave them the opportunity to fall in love without preconceptions or insecurities getting in the way.
At the reunion, Johnny and Amy revealed they’re still together, and shared that their families are super close, too. Basically, Johnny and Amy are the main success story to come out of Love Is Blind season 6.
Clay and AD
The only other couple to make it to their wedding this season was Clay and AD. A rocky start in the pods saw Clay asking AD to describe the way she looked in detail, making her think he wasn’t committed to the experiment. “I personally don’t want to sell myself based off my physical attributes,” AD told Clay, according to Tudum. A flirtation with Matthew also led to AD feeling torn. But that all changed when it transpired that Matthew was making the very same romantic declarations to another contestant. AD subsequently accepted a proposal from Clay, and viewers witnessed their relationship develop in the real world.
Disagreements over working hours ensued, while Clay revealed his biggest fear was being unfaithful as his parents’ marriage ended following his father’s cheating. Suggestions that he wouldn’t “let” AD lose her figure and would make her go to the gym caused further tension, Tudum reported. Despite their differences, the pair made it to their wedding day.
After AD said “I do,” Clay seemingly blindsided his fiancée by saying, “I don’t think it’s responsible for me to say I do. But I want you to know that I’m rockin’ with you, and I just don’t think it’s responsible for me to say I do at this point when I still need work.” AD was understandably devastated, and as she left the wedding she said to her mother, “Waste of my fucking time.” Clay later told AD he was going to work on himself by going to therapy, but she decided to walk away from the relationship, telling the camera, “I’m done.”
Despite sitting together at the reunion, Clay and AD did not continue to date after the reunion. Clay expressed deep regret for the way he handled their wedding, and revealed that he’s been undergoing therapy ever since to work on himself. “I just felt like the biggest dick,” he said having watched the show back. “I felt like, you know, I disrespected her family.” Clay also made it clear that he hasn’t totally given up on AD: “She’s honestly the love of my life. And I will tell you, honestly, I did make a mistake. You know, going to the altar and saying no.”
Unfortunately, AD didn’t seem to reciprocate Clay’s feelings about getting back together, but the pair were civil to one another at the reunion. It was also revealed that AD briefly dated Matthew after the show ended, but they realized they wanted different things in the long term.
Jimmy and Chelsea
Jimmy and Chelsea started Love Is Blind as part of a love square, with Trevor and Jess also vying for their attention. However, the pair decided to get engaged in the pods, and although Jimmy initially seemed disappointed that Chelsea didn’t look more like Megan Fox, they worked on their relationship in the real world. Some overblown arguments occurred, with Jimmy seemingly stoking Chelsea’s insecurities on more than one occasion. Despite their problems, Jimmy and Chelsea committed themselves to one another, and it looked like they might actually make it.
After Jimmy checked out former flame Jess on Instagram, it appeared as though the engagement might implode. Instead, Jimmy respectfully navigated a face-to-face meet-up with Jess at the group barbecue in episode 10, and he didn’t need an EpiPen after seeing her for the first time, either. Sadly, the couple’s romance hit a roadblock after Chelsea had already chosen her wedding dress.
In episodes 11 and 12, the pair had a special date at the amusement park Carowinds, and Jimmy told Chelsea, “I have no doubt in my mind that you’re my person.” He then asked Chelsea whether she felt ready to get married to him. After describing the tumultuous journey that got them there, Chelsea told him, “Right now, I can.” She continued, “I see you being an amazing husband. I see you being an amazing dad.” However, Jimmy wasn’t on the same page. After revealing that he still wanted to date her, Jimmy told Chelsea, “But I don’t wanna go to the altar.”
At the reunion it was revealed that Jimmy and Chelsea didn’t stay together after the show. Jimmy shared that he was incredibly upset that Chelsea had discussed a private matter involving one of his friends on camera, which had been the beginning of the end for their relationship. Unexpectedly, Chelsea became best friends with Jimmy’s other ex from the show, Jess. In spite of their split, Chelsea and Jimmy seemed to have remained on good terms as friends.
Brittany and Kenneth
Middle school principal Kenneth and former teacher Brittany hit it off immediately, bonding over family values and their intention to not have sex until they were married, according to Tudum. However, Kenneth later expressed his concern about the fact that Brittany was the first white woman he’d ever dated, with AD offering her support to Kenneth as he navigated the realities of being part of an interracial couple.
After initially seeming to be perfect for one another, the cracks quickly started appearing in the real world. On vacation, Brittany and Kenneth disagreed over displays of affection, and Kenneth’s passion for dolphins appeared to outweigh his interest in Brittany, so much so he became a meme. The couple’s relationship disintegrated further after they moved in together, with Kenneth spending an inordinate amount of time on his phone.
During a heart to heart, it was revealed that Kenneth woke Brittany up in the middle of the night when she needed to be up early for work the next day. Brittany then shared, “I feel like that desire and crave between you and I is, like, the missing piece.” After a short discussion, the pair decided to end their engagement, and while Brittany cried, Kenneth continued to look at his phone.
An unexpected TikTok video posted before the reunion showed Brittany and Kenneth reuniting, leading fans to wonder if they’d gotten back together. At the reunion, the pair revealed that they’re not in a romantic relationship, but they have remained best friends and talk every day.
Jeramey, Laura, and Sarah Ann
Jeramey’s Love Is Blind journey certainly caused quite a mess. After being torn between Laura and Sarah Ann in the pods, Jeramey decided to get engaged to Laura. Their relationship appeared to be progressing well, despite Laura’s hatred of Jeramey’s Hawaiian shirt collection. Even a DM from Sarah Ann to Jeramey didn’t seem enough to derail their romance. How wrong we all were.
Episode 9 provided a devastating update about Laura and Jeramey’s engagement. It was revealed that Jeramey had been “out ’til five-something in the fucking morning,” and that Sarah Ann had also been in attendance. While Jeramey tried to defend himself, claiming he’d only talked with Sarah Ann, Laura was ready to decimate him.
He claimed that, having shared his location with Laura, she had nothing to worry about. Unfortunately, this didn’t work out well for Jeramey, with Laura revealing that she had, indeed, checked his location, and that he wasn’t where he claimed to be. “Don’t share your fucking location if you don’t want me to check it,” she told him, before noting that Jeramey was actually “north of Uptown, which is where Sarah Ann lives.”
In episodes 10 and 11, Jeramey and Laura talked about their relationship at a group barbecue, and it was revealed that Jeramey had tried to send Laura flowers to apologize, which she’d refused. Ultimately, Laura had decided that Jeramey was a “con artist” who had “feelings for another person,” having already branded Sarah Ann “selfish” and “immature.” They ended their romance once and for all, and Jeramey wasted no time in moving on.
While talking to Sarah Ann at the barbecue, Jeramey declared that he’d “made the wrong decision in the pods.” In front of the rest of the cast, including Laura, Sarah Ann and Jeramey went riding on jet skis together, which was presumably the height of romance for them both.
A Reddit thread posted by user @AllergicToYahtzee suggested that Sarah Ann and Jeramey were still together, pointing to a selfie shared by Sarah Ann on February 9, 2024, which looked like it was snapped in Jeramey’s bedroom.
Jeramey and Sarah Ann made their love for one another pretty clear at the reunion by holding hands. “We’ve been dating for almost a year now,” Sarah Ann explained. “We live together.”
Laura appeared at the reunion via Zoom, and discussed Jeramey’s decision to meet up with Sarah Ann during their engagement. “Honestly, I’m convinced that had I not woken up, he never would have admitted talking to her or going to her house, in any way, shape or form,” Laura said. Jeramey claimed that he “didn’t intentionally lie about” his location that night, but Laura didn’t believe him. “You’ve never taken accountability,” she told him. “You’ve never, like, flat-out apologized. You’re a clown. You’re sitting there, lie after lie.”
Laura also emotionally explained how the breakup affected her, along with Jeramey’s decision to immediately move on with Sarah Ann. “My 96-year-old grandmother had a flight to my wedding,” Laura said. “And within days, he was with you. … This was my real life. I understand you guys are together now, whatever, that’s fine, but this was my real life, my real fiancé, my real engagement, my real wedding, that was made a mockery of by the two of you.”
Even Jess weighed in on the way Laura was treated, telling Sarah Ann and Jeramey, “We all thought both of you could have handled the situation more respectfully.” Sarah Ann revealed that she no longer talked to any of the women from the cast, to which Chelsea responded, “That’s because she liked to unfollow us and still follow our fiancés at the lake day, which I thought was strange.” Chelsea also suggested that Jeramey and Sarah Ann’s romance was far from perfect, saying, “Every time I see him, they’re broken up.” But at the reunion, at least, Sarah Ann and Jeramey continued to profess their love for one another.
