- 28 year old British-born solicitor Adrian is at the height of his career; he decides to make a life changing decision. Adrian is planning to propose to his long-term girlfriend Jennifer on her birthday. He enlists the help of his two best friends, the commitment phobic banker Marvin and the success driven politician Darren. They try to come up with proposal ideas. But before they do, the men recount memories of their shared experiences at university and swap stories about lessons learnt during their awkward teenage years. However, when Adrian bumps into his first love Sonia, they see it as a sign. Maybe he's not supposed to marry Jennifer, but a unexpected twists brings things to an abrupt end.
- Venus is having drinks with Shakira and Ella at Timothy's' family bar. Shakira begins to tell the ladies about Gabriels' surprise birthday party. And warns Venus that Ricky and Michael will be there. However, Venus seems to be unbothered by this. Next Scene, Venus is cooking dinner for Michael. She says that a way to a man's heart is through his stomach, and Michael agrees. Apart from the un spicy rice, everything else goes down well. The two then sit in front of the Television listening to some soothing slow music. This blissful evening is interrupted by a knock at the door. Venus is shocked to see a drunken Ricky on her doorstep. Ricky, barges past her and heads towards the living room. Venus is embarrassed and decides to call her brother Lewis. As she is doing this, Ricky begins to taunt Michael and tells him that she is playing a game. Michael disagrees; he tells Ricky that Venus is a great girl. But then Ricky decides to him about her rule book.
- Venus and Michelle are having a break in the staff room. Venus begins to update Michelle about the events that have occurred since Gabriel party. Firstly, Lewis breaking up with Georgia. She tells Michelle that they found a pregnancy test and Georgia admitted it was hers. But Lewis is not the father, ever since the news broke his been going on numerous dates. Next, Ricky has a new girlfriend called Jasmine who Venus does not like. However Jasmine wants them to be friends. Michelle cannot believe it especially since Venus and Ricky kissed at the party. Venus says that Ricky acts as if nothing happened. Meanwhile, Justin's' return causes a bit of confusion in Shakira. Venus explains that he was Shakiras' ex. Justin begs Shakira for another chance but she refuses. Shakira tells Gabriel that they need to go Counselling before they get married.
- Venus makes a promise that she will no longer go on random dates. However, she is immediately tested when she encounters three hot men in the lift. Venus tries to take no notice, but one of the guys asks her out. She happily declines, this is a new chapter. Next, Venus goes into a staff meeting that happens every Wednesday. The meeting goes on longer than she expected. To make matters worse she becomes the centre of all the jokes. After the meeting Michelle stops Venus and says her brother wants to take her out. But Venus remembers her promise, as she is about to say no Michelle quickly confirms the date. Then reminds Venus she is in HR. An hour later, Dale the high profile client demands that Venus should be his personal accountant. The manager persists that he goes with a much experienced accountant, he refuses. The manager agrees and introduces Venus to Dale but its obvious Dale has other plans. Meanwhile, Ricky and Jasmine invite Timothy and Ella round for dinner. Jasmine tells Ricky that she hopes Ella does not compare her to Venus. Ricky ensures her that won't happen. Timothy had earlier advised Ella against being mean to Jasmine but that does not stop her. At dinner, Jasmine begins to make fun of Ellas', referencing to what she's drinking and dessert. The two seem to really dislike each other, which puts Timothy and Ricky in an awkward situation. Venus decides to go on a date with James. Apart from a horrible park location, the date is running smoothly. However, James believes Venus is very boring and we begin to hear his voiceover. He has no interest and wants the date to end as quickly as possible, but Venus seems eager to make the date last longer. Lewis the sports coach is surprised when he bumps into an attractive female near his football grounds.
- Venus is on the phone to Ashley; she fills him in on her horrendous date with James and says she's was very happy at first. But, the happiness soon took the exit door when James began shouting at her. Ashley, is then shocked to hear that she met up with her dad. The two reminisce of their youthful days when they got in trouble for partying. She wants to tell Lewis but cannot get hold of him. Next scene, Timothy, Nate and Lewis are at the park. Nate the reveals that he is engaged to his girlfriend which no one has met. Timothy tells Nate to think wisely and give it some time. But Nate refuses to listen "Why wait he says". Venus tells us a bit about Nates' past and how all his previous girlfriends treated him badly. Lewis is Tammie bumps into them whilst jogging. Tammie is not impressed when Lewis introduces her as his friend. "Do you sleep with all your friends" she exclaims. She threatens not to spend any more time with Lewis until his introduces her properly. In the episode, we also see Shakira and Gabriel in counselling for the first time. Gretel, the therapist is trying to figure out the state of their relationship. They both play coy at first, claiming all is perfect. However, when Gretel asks them to say something they like about one another they both become lost for words. Gretel then begins to see the flaws.
