Gordon Antell has been working as a film editor for over half his life. He received his B.F.A. in Film & Drama from Syracuse University's school of Visual & Performing Arts. Following graduation, he moved to Los Angeles from the idyllic suburbs of New Jersey and began work as a production assistant for mega-movie producer Joel Silver. Working for Silver Pictures was not enough for Gordon, and then the creative energy of the editing room came calling. In his early years he assisted many great Editors like Dede Allen, Dov Hoenig, Paul Hirsch, William Goldenberg & Stephen Rivkin, Wayne Wahrman, Steve Rosenbloom, Robert Frazen and Mark Helfrich on such films as "The Addams Family", "Last of The Mohicans", "Mission: Impossible", "ALI", "Constantine", "U-571", "Blood Diamond", "Smokin' Aces" and "Tower Heist". In addition to films, he has worked on all three seasons of the SyFy network show "Defiance", and the one critically acclaimed season of HBO's "The Brink." He was the Co-Editor on "The Road Within". "Moments of Clarity" and "Badsville" are his latest achievements, and both are shopping for distribution. Gordon is married to Kristina Harrison, a Dressage equestrian/trainer. They live together in Burbank, CA with their daughters Gussie and Rison, plus five horses, three dogs, and a desert tortoise.
