Me and the Alien MuuMuu , an upcoming TV anime based on the “super mystery comedy” manga, has revealed the ending theme song performers for the series. For the official ending theme song, Sakurako Umeyashiki (CV: Momo Harumi) and MuuMuu (CV: Etsuko Kozakura) will perform an in-character cover of the song “Sayonara Jinrui”, originally performed by the band Tama. Some good news for fans of far-out extraterrestrial comedies: Me and the Alien MuuMuu (known as Uchujin MuuMuu in Japan), a “super mystery comedy” manga by Hiroki Miyashita, is being adapted into an anime that will be released in 2025. Voice actors Momo Harumi and Etsuko Kozakura will play the roles of Sakurako Umeyashiki and MuuMuu , respectively. An official home page and social media feed have been published, and a piece of teaser art (below) has also been revealed. At the time of this reporting, the exact format of the project and the staff have not yet been revealed. We're officially heading south for the winter, as rom-com anime Okinawa de Suki ni Natta Ko ga Hogen Sugite Tsura Sugiru ("I Girl I Fell For in Okinawa Has a Difficult Dialect") today announced a January 2025 broadcast with a brand-new preview video and visual. Further enforcing the series' regional focus, it was also revealed that Etsuko Kozakura (Akamaru in Yo-kai Watch ) is voicing Oki Memo Shisha, a mascot-type lion character inspired by Okinawan/Ryukyuan mythology, Okinawan native Tarusuke Shingaki (Nathanial in Bungo Stray Dogs ) is providing narration and Okinawan rock band Hy is in charge of the opening song.
