Soukaina Bouchette was born in Tetouan, Morocco. Bouchette earned a degree in Film production management. Soukaina began her directing career in 2016. She wrote and directed her short film Memoire Noire (2016) with which she won numerous awards in festivals throughout the country.
Prior to her work as a director, Soukaina worked in many television and cinema projects including: Invasion (2021) (announced), Homeland (2011) and Little Horror Movie (2018) .
