Kasson Crooker is an American music composer, sound designer, videogame developer, and audio technologist.
He has been composing a wide range of electronic music for the past 2 decades with styles ranging from cinematic, classical synthesizer music, downtempo, synthpop, idm/techno, ambient. He has been in numerous bands: Freezepop, Splashdown, Symbion Project, Rocococo to name a few. Crooker has licensed compositions to films like "Chronicles of the Ghostly Tribe" (2016), "Titan AE" and numerous independent films. He has released over a dozen albums, with some being mixed in quad surround sound.
Through his Symbion Project moniker, Crooker has created interactive music for videogames such as FreQuency, Amplitude, Sentris, Chime#, RockBand, and Guitar Hero and currently has VR projects in the works. He spent 15 years developing videogames at Harmonix Music Systems based in Boston, MA and spent a year at Microsoft creating spatial audio experiences for HoloLens.
