Kaitlyn Danielle Ervin was born August 11, 1991 in Mooresville, North
Carolina. Her parents are Wayne and Lorraine Miller Ervin; she has an
older brother - Brandon Ervin and a younger brother - Clayton Ervin.
Statia Ervin Sorgee of South Carolina is her older half-sister. Kaitlyn
is a 2009 graduate from Mooresville High School, while in high school
she did attend drama classes, but was mostly interested in pursuing a
career in journalism. After high school Kaitlyn attended college and
earned a diploma in cosmetology.
Kaitlyn was introduced to the stage at an early age through her love of dance. She began performing with a competition dance team at the age of four; over the next ten years the team achieved many regional and national titles for the group. Cheer-leading and softball are other activities that Kaitlyn enjoyed while in school. Her first experience with TV/Film came from working with the HBO TV Show - Banshee, this job opened up an opportunity to work in the film "Careful What You Wish For" (2013) with Nick Jonas, Dermot Mulroney, Isabel Lucus, and Paul Sorvino.
