Game of Thrones: A Man Without Honor (2012)
Season 2, Episode 7
8/10
The worst one so far

Warning: Spoilers
Let's start with the good, all of Jon and Theon's scenes are good but not highlights, the Cersei Sansa scene is great and Arya and Tywin continue to be amazing and with the exception of the best scene that's kinda it.

Bran's escape is pretty questionable from his perspective but far from bad, the Sansa scenes without Cersei are okay, and some of the Robb/Catelyn scenes are fine.

Danerys is some ways better than in the last 2 episodes but also in some ways even worse. Her dialogue scene with Jorah is probably her best in the season so far and the Pyat Pree stuff was pretty cool the first time, but on rewatch all it does is fill me with disappointment because it goes nowhere and unlike her plot points I cannot put the blame for that on future seasons because all of it is in season 2.

Best scene: The scene between Tyrion and Cersei is one of the best dialogue scene in the show, it's extremely heartfelt and adds a lot of nuance to their relationship, and I love how Peter Dinklage and Lena Headey act it perfectly shows how neither of them know how to deal with the situation because they have never interacted this positively with each other. It also has great lines and sets up the Blackwater battle.

Worst scene: The prison scene between Jaime and Alton (why isn't this Cleos?) is unique among the bad scenes of the early seasons because I quite enjoy it, but that actually makes it worse. The dialogue is really good and fun to watch which makes it worse when Jaime kills him (Kinslaying is the worst crime in Westeros) in order to do an escape attempt that ends up doing nothing, they use it as the way Rickard Karstark gets mad at him because the Jailer was his son but we already hat the line in season 1 that Jaime killed a lot of Robb's men so that wasn't needeed at all.
