Throughout much of the first season, the show almost seems to make fun of sexual harassment. Early episodes have mostly obscure comments which could be ignored by the potential victim, but with a few instances of crude remarks by sailors. Shortly after mid-season, Rabb gets a female superior who blatantly violates both the letter and intention of sexual harassment regulations. Rabb treats them as a challenge and resulting liaisons between the two are implied.
