That really is Tom Baker in the mummy costume. Paddy Russell insisted, much to the star's dismay.

Goofs
Inside the lodge, The Doctor's hat can be seen on the back of the chair by the grandfather clock. Every time The Doctor enters/leaves the lodge the hat remains on the chair. Yet in all of the outdoor scenes (except inside the poacher's hut) The Doctor is wearing his hat.

Are You My Mummy...

The Doctor takes on a new costume, the kind that takes over and overwhelmingly consumes, you might call it a wrap, with the odd straying flap, through sarcophagus doors to the room at the back.
