Talented Midwestern girl Sonny wins a nationwide talent search and is moving to Los Angeles to star in a popular TV series. Her home life and work life are documented along with her adjustment to life in the spotlight.

Sonny Monroe is destined for stardom after Hollywood producers see a film that she made and put on the Internet. She is soon whisked away from her home in Wisconsin and arrives in Hollywood, where she is offered a starring role in her favorite TV show that will change her life.—Anonymous
