The series officially ended on January 2, 2011, after the 2nd season, after Lovato completed treatment and left her role.
Demi Lovato left the show after season 2 for mental health reasons. As a result, the show was renamed "So Random!" and focused only on the sketches, rather than the behind-the-scenes antics.
In Brazil, the show is titled "Sunny Entre Estrelas" (meaning Sunny Between Stars), and the character Sonny Munroe was actually re-named to Sunny. This happened most likely because of the pronunciation.
