Let me just say this, if you've never watched Star Wars and want to get into it, watch this. If you're Star Wars fan already, WATCH THIS. Just blew me away, from the first scene to the last one. I have to congratulate Dave Filoni for this episode, my word... Dave Filoni, YOU ARE A LEGEND.

For the true star wars fan who has watched the animated series, and read the star wars books written in the 90s, this episode if packed full of easter eggs, and the possibilities for the future of the mandalorian is extraordinary. For the average fan to the ones who have only seen the mandalorian this episode is packed full of spectacular visuals and story foundation to lift the mandalorian to new heights and dramatic plotlines to be unfolded for all fans to enjoy and revel in excitement for all.
Going into this, I've seen one episode of clone wars and I'm not even sure which episode that was. As a casual star wars fan, this was perfect television. I hated The Last Jedi not because of what they did to the characters, only because the plot made no sense and it just existed to subvert your expectations without serving the story.
This, on the other hand, had a perfect story. Felt Kurosawa-inspired to me. Action was great, characters in every scene have an obvious motivation. No twists or unpredictable moments to throw off the audience, yet the surprises serve the plot perfectly.
Everything to like here. Might start watching clone wars after all.

THIS EP ALONE WAS BETTER THAN THE ABRAMS, TRILOGY.
Yes, simple like that.

What an awesome episode! This season just gets better and better each week! Star Wars is back on top again!

Yea it was cool and emotional to see Ahsoka Tano again in this episode, but I really do not feel like this episode was a great one, and not even a good one. (In fact I came here expecting lots of bad reviews, and I was surprised there were so many 10/10 reviews, I'd say that those reviews cannot be objective at all, but okay I leave this to the fan boys and girls).
While visuals and sound were great as always (I really liked the "post apocalyptic atmosphere), there was absolutely no tension. The whole showplace with its inhabitants seemed artificial, the motion sequences (especially of Ahsoka) looked kinda clunky and staged, Mando has his cool moments as always, the action was predictable, there was nothing special about the dialogoues and, uhm, in the end you have the impression it was just another sidequest planet that leads to another sidequest planet and so on. No real story progression again. I can live with this filler epsiode, but for me it was an underwhelming experience. Not bad, not good, nothing special about it, except the little revealations and Ahsokas apperance (that felt kinda meaningless in the end, sigh). Overall I cannot give it more than a 5 out of 10.

This is one of if not the best episode of the season (so far). Not only is this episode fast paced and satisfying we finally have answers towards some very highly asked and anticipated questions in regards towards the child and the multiple tie ins with Rebels, The Clone wars as well as the prequels. Get ready for your minds to be blown!

All of these episodes contain pieces of the puzzle, this one just contains a lot more.
I suppose we have anticipated this ever since the title of chapter was revealed.
So I can't really say anything about this. Other than the music is a lot different in this chapter. And it is totally appropriate.
One trivia piece compares this episode to the movie "tombstone", and that is pretty much what this is: a gunfight at the OK corral.
There could also be similarities to the fight between Oren Ishi-ii and Beatrice Kiddo, from Kill Bill part one.
The music reflects this, while at the same time accenting Rosario Dawson's character.
This chapter was a refreshing and welcome respite. LOTS of questions answered, still more poised.

It just doesn't get much better than this!
It has all of the elements that make star wars a great story from any angle, if in the right hands.
This episode was chills all the way through!
