Trivia
Randall Flagg's Las Vegas penthouse suite was built on a sound stage. The room called for marble walls and floors, which was constructed from particle board painted to look like marble tiles.

Goofs
When Stu and Tom see the bomb explode, Stu Redman seemingly quotes the Bible (Rev 6:7-8) "I saw a pale horse with a pale rider upon it. The name of the horse was Pestilence, and the name of the rider was Death." However, the true verse does not name the horse, which is not named anywhere in Revelations, or in the Bible, or in any other religious book. Some interpretations use Pestilence or Plague instead of Death as the name of the rider, but nowhere is the horse named.

Quotes

Alternate versions
The US DVD by Artisan contains a few uncensored scenes which were edited for the TV release. The back of this DVD lists the run time as 366 minutes but is actually 361 minutes. The US DVD released by Paramount is the edited TV version and runs 2 minutes shorter at 359 minutes. All other DVDs in other regions contain this edited TV version but run times vary only because of NTSC to PAL transfers, not because of any added or deleted scenes.
