- TriviaAt the beginning of the episode, Vader's Star Destroyer is chasing the ship where Obi-Wan and the refugees escape Jabiim, just like the beginning of Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope (1977) where it is chasing the Tantive IV where Leia and the Rebels are carrying the stolen blueprints of the Death Star. Also the music that plays during the scene is very similar to the John Williams track Hyperspace, which played in Star Wars: Episode V - The Empire Strikes Back (1980) during the Millennium Falcon's escape from pursuing Imperial ships after departing Cloud City.
- GoofsVader orders the Star Destroyer to change course to pursue Obi-Wan in the drop ship, then says he will take his personal ship down to the planet and face Kenobi himself. If he had a personal ship, he could have deployed that earlier and kept the Star Destroyer pursuing the escaping Rebels. There would have been no need to abandon the pursuit of the Rebels.
- Quotes
Obi-Wan Kenobi: [Obi-Wan damages Vader's mask with his lightsaber, revealing half of his face. He's horrified] Anakin.
Darth Vader: [His voice is distorted as he continues wheezing] Anakin is gone. I am what remains.
Obi-Wan Kenobi: [He starts to cry] I'm sorry. I'm sorry, Anakin.
[He breathes shakily]
Obi-Wan Kenobi: For all of it.
Darth Vader: [He continues to wheeze. His voice is still distorted] I am not your failure, Obi-Wan.
[We hear more of Vader's real voice]
Darth Vader: You didn't kill Anakin Skywalker. I did.
[Vader gives a sadistic smile that turns into a snarl]
Darth Vader: The same way I will destroy you!
Obi-Wan Kenobi: [He is still sad. He deactivates his lightsaber] Then my friend is truly dead. Goodbye, Darth.
[Obi-Wan leaves]
Darth Vader: [He continues to wheeze. He stares hatefully at Obi-Wan's retreating form] Obi-Wan!
[He collapses on the ground, still wounded. He is alone. He screams]
Darth Vader: OBI-WAN!

The show on the whole hasn't been perfect by any stretch but the images of Darth/Anakin after the event (you know the one) is one of the greatest images in Star Wars ever, that moment was an absolute knockout and worth the journey.
Just a shame there was so much redemption to ponder after all the excitement.
