19 year old Shaheen Jafargholi from Swansea has joined the cast of Eastenders, playing the son of Bonnie Langford's character Carmel Kazemi.
Shaheen (represented by Mark Jermin Management) was a finalist in Britain's Got Talent aged just twelve, and went on to appear on American TV shows ‘The Ellen Degeneres Show’ and ‘The Jimmy Kimmel Show' before performing at the Michael Jackson memorial concert.
He will play Shakil, the youngest son of Carmel and brother of Kush. Known as “Shaki” by his friends and family, the cheeky teenager arrives in the Square determined to reunite his parents who previously divorced.
Things don’t quite go to plan however and he soon moves to the Square to be with his mum and brother. At fifteen years old, it doesn’t take the popular Shakil long to find himself at home in Walford but will there be a romance on the cards?...
