Ash arrives at her girlfriend George's family farm, ready to start a new life of rural bliss. But out in the middle of the Yorkshire countryside, things go bump in the night and Ash isn't the only one hiding from the past.

Ash learns more about George's family history from the village gossip, which leads to a drunken night of fun that ends in peril. Strange noises and George's secrecy about the dairy cause tension and pique Ash's curiosity.

A visit from the farrier leaves Ash shaken, and a snowstorm isolates the two women further. The strange occurrences and some news from her sister cause Ash to question her state of mind, and whilst this brings her and George closer together, there are disastrous consequences.

George's existing guilt intensifies when she leaves to go a trade show and Ash is forced to deal with a farm emergency that dredges up her past. The malevolent forces at work cause George to take action, and Ash to confront George about what she's hiding.

A raging storm lures Ash into a terrifying trap and, the next morning, the flooded shed holds a dark revelation. Ash believes herself to be guilty of a crime, but the truth turns out to be even more sinister and when George does something desperate, their relationship reaches breaking point.

Ash's torture comes to a head and in the aftermath, George finally comes clean about Sour Hall's secrets. The couple face a choice - will their tormenter break them, or can they come together for a final confrontation and a chance of hope and healing?
