- The series airs in an edited form in many places, primarily in Australia and the UK. Some of the more "risky" gags and lines have been removed and occasionally replaced with new, more kid-friendly content.
- Episode 8 of the first season, titled The Unicorns Have Got to Go, has never been shown in some Eastern European regions, like Poland, Hungary and Romania, probably due to its crass humor. The Halloween specials have also been neglected for a long time and were only shown years after their US broadcasts.
- Recent airings of all of the earlier episodes in the U.S. have much but not all of the profanity dubbed over (for example "pissed off" got replaced with "ticked off"). Versions of some of the episodes with all of the profanity can still be found in some of the earlier DVD releases. Despite these changes, all of the scenes involving guns, violence, drug references, and sexual innuendos remain intact.
