All Smurfs movies have had Smurfette be voiced by a famous singer. *In The Smurfs (2011) and it's sequel The Smurfs 2 (2013), she is voiced by Katy Perry. *In Smurfs: The Lost Village (2017), she is voiced by Demi Lovato. *In this movie, she is voiced by Rihanna.

Excluding follow ups, this is the twelfth fully CGI film to be based off a comic strip, after Over the Hedge (2006), TMNT (2007), Big Hero 6 (2014), The Peanuts Movie (2015), The Lego Batman Movie (2017), Smurfs: The Lost Village (2017), Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018), The Addams Family (2019), DC League of Super-Pets (2022), Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem (2023) and The Garfield Movie (2024).
