The Jurassic Park franchise is one of the most iconic franchises in the world, so its no surprise that the popular 90s sitcom Seinfeld managed to include a cheeky dinosaur reference in the show. It wouldnt be the first time an unrelated movie or TV show referenced an aspect of the dinosaur series, especially since Jurassic Park has such a long-running timeline and expansive lore.
Seinfeld might be a television show about people doing nothing, but Seinfeld was very up-to-date with its pop culture references. In one episode, Jerrys artist ex-girlfriend plagiarizes a monologue from the Neil Simon movie, Chapter 2, in her apology letter to him. Another episode parodied the magic bullet theory from the 1991 film JFK with Jerrys magic loogie theory. However, Seinfeld managed to hide a Jurassic Park Easter egg, and its really exciting.

As the year winds down, it’s time to look back at Netflix’s biggest hits, and today, we begin by looking into what kids’ TV shows picked up the most points in the Netflix top 10s over the past 12 months.
This list is compiled using FlixPatrol data collected from the daily top 10s on Netflix from over 80 countries around the globe. They assign points and values to each title that gets featured on any day. Their data isn’t perfect as their method doesn’t quite fully capture the complexity of viewership data, such as total watch time, repeat viewings, or demographic details of the audience. Also worth noting is that Netflix changed up its top 10 metrics midway through the year to favor views over pure viewing hours. That said, their data provides a pretty accurate snapshot of what performed best over a long period.

The Barbie movie cut a "really fun" scene where Ryan Gosling's Ken wrestles a bear. The scene was likely a reference to the Bear character in the Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse web series. The scene would have showcased more of Ryan Gosling's comedic brilliance as Ken, but it had to be cut for time.

If you're not well-versed in the extended Barbie universe of animated films and TV shows, you're in luck, because the new Netflix series "Barbie: A Touch of Magic" is the perfect streaming chaser for those still riding the high of Greta Gerwig's live-action "Barbie" movie. While the Barbie brand has been equal parts loved and at the center of controversy for over half a century, Mattel has been seriously putting in the work to make sure that every child feels seen, loved, and affirmed by Barbie.
So while it may have been groundbreaking for some to hear America Ferrera's monologue about womanhood in "Barbie," these sorts of lessons have been at the core of animated Barbie (especially the Barbie Vlog series on YouTube) for quite some time. In the lead-up to Gerwig's "Barbie," the 2012 animated series "Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse" routinely hit the top 10 on Netflix, and...

Raquelle is Barbie's frenemy in the animated series "Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse," constantly trying to sabotage Barbie's life out of envy. Raquelle does not appear in Greta Gerwig's Barbie movie, but fans hope she might be included in a potential sequel as a villainous character. "Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse" and other Barbie content continue to provide entertainment for fans looking for more adventures in the Barbie universe.
Barbie and Raquelle aren't exactly best friends in Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse, and their conflict would make for a great storyline on the big screen, but is Raquelle in the Barbie movie? Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse is an animated web series that ran for four seasons from 2012 to 2015 on the official Barbie website and YouTube. Centering around Barbie and her friends in a doll-inhabited Malibu, it was set up like a reality show, featuring confessionals from the characters.

Ever since her 1959 release, Barbie has taken the world by storm. Her brand has adapted over the years to fit the trends of the current time period. Being around for so many decades has allowed Barbie to make a name for herself and build an exciting franchise. She’s even gotten her own movies and shows in the past, but nothing as big as Greta Gerwig’s ‘Barbie’. Audiences are captivated by the movie, and couldn’t wait for the July release. From dolls to movies, Barbie’s made quite the empire for herself. Who knew that one little toy would go on to change the world. Barbie went against the grain of baby dolls by providing girls with the doll of a woman. Instead of girls mothering a toy baby, they were able to live vicariously through a doll of a woman. Barbie is a form of free expression,...

Greta Gerwig’s Barbie boasts a plethora of Barbie and Ken dolls, but there’s only one version of Allan — there’s a real-life explanation surrounding his lone presence in the movie. When it comes to hanging out at the beach, or having a girls night, there are plenty of Kens and Barbies to go around, but Allan Sherwood stands apart from the variety of Ken dolls in the movie. Played by Michael Cera, Allan may not be recognizable to some viewers, but the character has a long and storied history.
The Barbie movie dips into the well of the Mattel doll’s history, bringing up the multitude of Barbies, Kens, and their friends — including Allan and Midge (Emerald Fennell), Barbie’s once-upon-a-time best friend. First introduced in 1964, Mattel created Allan to be Midge’s boyfriend, and he was marketed as Ken’s bestie. He could even fit into all of Ken’s clothes!

Screen Rant is overjoyed to present a brand-new song from the first-ever Barbie animated movie to feature her little sister as the title character: Skipper and The Big Babysitting Adventure. The 42nd Barbie movie is 60 minutes long, and it comes on the heels of Netflix and Mattel's successful interactive special, Barbie: Epic Road Trip. The new film from writer Daniel Bryan Franklin (Barbie Dreamhouse Adventures) and director Steve Daye (Barbie: Life in the Dreamhouse) centers on Skipper's babysitting business hitting a snag.
A key ingredient of any Barbie media is the importance of support from friends and family, which is why Skipper and The Big Babysitting Adventure sees its protagonist turning to said friends for help with summer jobs when her babysitting expertise doesn't yield the business results she hoped for. Thankfully, she gets a second shot at her calling and brings her friends on board to start a...
