TTA Admitals Watson and Crick are named for scientists James Watson and Francis Crick, who first discovered the structure of DNA.
The recurring character Mirandos, her father Prosperos, their planet Tempestoro, their species the Ariellians, and Mirandos' wrist computer the Calibandroid all take their names from Shakespeare's "The Tempest."
There is Morse code on the Stellosphere. In some shots of the Stellosphere in non-Galatech mode, you can see a line of dots and dashes running down the side of the craft. Look below the orange line that runs back from the TTA logo on the nose of the craft and right above the heavy blue line at the bottom of the hull. It reads "Connecting the Universe", which is a tagline for the TTA (Tomorrowland Transit Authority)
