After two deaths the search of the Island begins for the mysterious U N Owen, but an increased body count brings a harsh realisation, one of the remaining guests is Mr Owen.
I had amazingly high expectations after the first instalment, and thankfully they were realised. I loved the ill feeling between them all, it was beautifully played out, they each behaved as naturally as would be expected, scared, suspicious and alone. A brilliant air of claustrophobia has been created, there literally is nowhere to run or hide. Great music, very sinister and threatening, and once again the filming has been first rate, the harsh reality of their present day events is hugely at odds with their flashbacks.
Some wonderful scenes throughout Part 2, I loved the scene between Emily Brent and Vera Claythorne, both were impressively well in character. I am again hugely impressed by the entire cast, Aidan Turner is putting in a hugely impressive performance as Lombard.
Close to perfect, 10/10
